Second Draft Of Script
Its interesting how your work looks so different when you view it with a fresh pair of eyes. Its been a month since I’ve touched the script and I’ve just been looking over it now… and cringing! All writers (amateur and professionals) get this problem! I love the story but there are certain parts that need some serious reworking so I’ve decided to go ahead with a second draft, only this time I’ve got some decent “screenplay repair” books written by some of Hollywood’s top screenwriters to help me do it. It shouldn’t take too long. All it needs is for me to pin down some of the major plot flaws and give them a good ironing out so everything flows solidly. The script’s emotional backbone is also a little weak as it stands, but luckily I’ve spotted this and am working on sorting it out.
The code itself is turning out really good and is actually playable now. I’d spotted a few bugs with the AI which have been zapped and things are looking a lot better. There’s still a lot of stuff missing but I’m working on adding all that.
