Well OK, almost one third. But 28% is pretty good considering it was only 8% at the beginning of last week. So how many minutes of cinematics is that? I reckon I roughly have about half an hour worth of cutscenes so far. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this but the story in Dark Angel is feature length at an estimated one and a half hours long. It’s practically a full film packed into a 38mb flash file (that’s the estimated final file size). It’s not like the cutscenes in the last game where you had to click the button to see the next slide. Each cutscene autoplays and is done in time with the music. Plus the illustrations are now dynamic instead of still and some of the sequences are animated.
Now you know where all my time has been going and why it’s taken me so long to do all this.
I know some of you have been crying out for an Anaksha movie, well this is the closest thing so far. And trust me the soundtrack won’t let you down. It’s pretty much Hollywood standard composed by some well known names in the industry and some of the really epic tracks were recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
<—- Anyway keep watching those bars. They’re moving fast.
